Escaping the Body by Chloe N. Clark

A stunning and beautiful work of art. Thankful that I got to experience how Chloe Clark writes and draws the reader into the softness and the harshness of the horror of knowing oneself.

I received this book free from NetGalley and Interstellar Flight Press to review and this is my honest review.

A Little Soul by April Barnhill

Mental health and poetry has never seemed to be so interconnected in the literature world then they do know and to read and connect with different authors and poets in how they connect to such things.

Each poem and work is as unique as the writers and connects on varying levels with the reader.

I enjoyed reading this book and appreciate what the author has put into it.

A Sybil Society by Katherine Factor

This was an excellent piece of work. However, the formatting of the poems and how they were laid out was a bit of a struggle for me to understand throughout the book and made it harder for me to read through it.

One of the things that I really enjoyed in this book was the way that the ancient and the modern were intertwined together in the poems. Modern terminology was used to connect with and describe objects and people that we find most often in ancient history.

A beautiful and unique work of art.

I received this book free from NetGalley and University of Nevada Press to review and this is my honest review.
